SPECWAR SEAL Custom Details

12-Inch Figure: bbi G1 version body, Elite Force Delta "Striker" with camo face paint removed using finger nail polish remover. Replaced gloved hands with bbi USMC Sniper "Snake" hands weathered with grime colored acrylic wash.

Protec Helmet: bbi EF Navy SEAL "Shark". Modified by cutting the sides over the ears. The custom chin strap is made from InToyz rifle strap webbing, DML rifle strap tri-glides, and the chin-pad off of a bbi F-18 pilot helmet. Black bbi buttons glued to the sides of the Protec helmet for simulating strap anchors.

Helmet Mounted NV Goggles: The NVG's are from DML PJ "Jose" glued to the front of the helmet. Notice the perfect fit of the NVG's contoured mounting base with the bbi Protec, it worked out great. The custom NVG mounting strap is made from bbi 1/8 inch webbing, fastex buckle, and a bbi button. The rear of the mounting strap is made from the ankle strap off of a pair of bbi UDT SEAL Diving fins. The silver philips screw is from a bbi F-18 pilot helmet. The strap hooks to the helmets back edge with a picture wall hanger cut to size, and painted black.

SDU-5 Distress Becon: From bbi F-18 pilot "Cougar" painted black, and taped on to NVG mounting strap using black tape.

Radio Headset: Hasbro Navy SEAL boarding figure's headset painted black. Modified by removing the original plastic wire, and replaced it with coiled solid core wire adding yellow paint to boom mic wire. The headset attaches to 21st Century Toys SWAT Commander radio. The radio holder is made from a bbi Cy girl holster with added webbing, bbi button, and a section of a 21st-C German wwii belt.....save those bits and pieces-you never know!

Balaclava: Custom made by Steebird Toys. Made from black stretch fabric.

Flight Suit: InToyz deluxe Flight Suit with zippered legs. No mod's and fit's nice.

SPIE Harness Rig: bbi Night Ops SEAL "Owl".

Body Armor: bbi Freedom Force Delta Figure.

LBV: DML Navy SEAL "Rick" with bbi molded stobe pouch repainted, and taped to shoulder strap.

Floatation Harness: bbi F-18 pilot attached to LBV using the provided die cast hooks.

SATCOM Antenna & Rucksack: bbi Green Beret's Eagle/Rogue attached using the exsisting LBV's fastex buckles. The SATCOM antenna is custom made using a short piece of a plastic mini flag pole. First wrapped pole with black tape to simulate the coil winding of the antenna's inner core. Then covered the pole with a piece of 3/8 inch black shrink tubing. A small piece of tubing is added as the top cap. Painted on white bottom label using acrylic paint. I used the bbi Green Beret's Eagle/Rogue SATCOM antenna as the reference.

Molded Ammo Pouches: bbi Freedom Force, repainted olive drab with acrylic paint.

Pistol & Holster: bbi die cast M9 pistol and DML M9 holster repainted black.

Canteen: bbi EF Navy SEAL "Shark" molded combo canteen/strobe pouch repainted olive drab.

Gas Mask Bag: bbi EF Navy SEAL "Shark" modified, stained black with acrylic paint, reoriented the belt straps to be carried horizontally. Relocated side pocket.

Knife: bbi EF Delta "Striker" with added, webbing and button handle retaining strap. Repainted using acrylics.

Elbow & Kneepads: bbi elbowpads. Old school 21st Century Toys SWAT kneepads with side strap mounts removed. Elastic straps glued directly to pads interior.

Black Jungle Boots: Soldiers of the World boots from the Enduring Freedom Uniform Sets. Added silver paint to weather the eyelets.

Clear Parachute Goggles: From 21st Century Toys HALO boxed figure. Strapped to flight suits left sleeve.

M16 Commando-Suppressed: 21st Century Toys M16 Commando short version & suppressor (drilled out muzzle) with added bbi aimpoint scope glued to the carry handle, and bbi tac-light from the die cast SWAT shotgun (light removed from the shotgun foregripand trimmed to size). Light mount from bbi Terminate "Carlos" SPAS-12. Solid core wire added with a piece of rubber cut to size for the pressure switch. Black enigineering tape used to secure the wire, and wrapped the mag.
